Back on October 28, 2023, Slaton football snapped a 19 game losing streak.
In 2024 they went 7-4 and made the playoffs.
In 2025, Slaton is preseason ranked #21 by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football.
It’s been an impressive turnaround, culture change and buy-in by the players and community under Head Coach Clint Conkin.
The Tigers have a lot of starters returning so they look to keep moving forward.
There’s a buzz in Slaton for this football season.
